Matteo De Angelis is Professor of Marketing at Luiss University, in Rome. He got the PhD in Management at the University of Bologna in 2008. At LUISS Guido Carli he is currently Coordinator of the PhD in Management and director of XITE's Academic Research Unit, as well as Director of the Master in Marketing Management at Luiss Business School. He was previously a Visiting Assistant professor in Management at the Sheldon Lubar School of Business and a Research Assistant in Marketing at the Kellogg School of Management. His research activities focus on consumer behavior and marketing strategies, in areas such as social communication, word of mouth, digital marketing technologies, customer relationship management, and the sustainability of luxury branding. He has published over 100 pieces o work, including 3 books, about 50 articles and many conference papers. Some of his articles have been published in prestigious international journals such as the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Strategic Management Journal, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Psychology & Marketing, Psychological Science, and many others.
