The digital revolution has brought an avalanche of new content and data pushing organizations from commercial brands to political groups design and implement value-creation strategies. After discussing the kinds of new data offered by digital technologies from social media to search and IoT, we will describe successful recent business model innovations in both B2B and B2C spaces. Finally, we will explore how these changes demand radical organizational changes associated with greater agility in the firm’s leadership and responsiveness to market changes.
